Id ask a doctor or a nurse, I do not think it would be a problem. In some cultures, women wrap their stomachs close after birth.
I am sure it is safe, but I think it would be difficult to obtain. From what I hear, get you in great pain in the belly for luck to get there.

I agree with the poster above ... Focus on the hair and face. While nurses will encourage you to be active and moving, it is likely that the bleeding and very uncomfortable with cramps. I do not recommend the life harder for you than you need ... Also, you just skip a baby! I think people understand your point, and focuses more on your new baby.
